Mr. David Hamilton
On July 1, 1991 at approximately 11:30 AM I spoke, via telephone, with a gentleman who stated that he was Mr. David Hamilton.Mr. Hamilton was a truck driver for the Fletcher Paint Works forapproximately one year. He stated that he left New Hampshire forFlorida around 1973 so to the best of his recollection he workedfor Fletcher sometime during 1960.
He was a truck driver and he believes that he drove anInternational 2 Door truck with a closed in body.
Richard Fletcher, who worked in the paint factory, usually actedas his dispatcher directing Mr. Hamilton where to deliverfinished paint products that were manufactured by FletcherPaints. Mr. Hamilton did clearly recall being directed by FredFletcher to travel to General Electric in upstate New York topick up loads of barrels. On 3 to 4 occasions he recallstravelling from Milford, New Hampshire through Bennington,Vermont and on to Glenns Falls, New York, it was about a 6-8 hourtrip (Investigators Note: see 8/24/90 memo from Bill Hanscom re:interview of Kent Bufelli who is Hamilton's step son, Mr Bufelliwent along on at least one of these midnight runs with his stepfather when he was younger). Along the way from Milford, NewHampshire he would drop off a load of finished paint to aFletcher Paint customer and proceed to General Electric with anempty truck. At the General Electric facility GE employees wouldload the truck with approximately 22 metal 55 gallon barrels. Herecalled that some barrels had the word "Mohawk" written on thebarrel. He recalled signing some paperwork that GE gave him.
