RECYCLE MORE ...
... your handy guide to what goes where!
Don’t forget!
Keep glass separate from the rest of your
recycling
Hambleton District Council collects waste from over 40,000 households. With the help of our residents we need to make sure as much as possible is recycled to
conserve natural resources, save energy and reduce the amount of waste being
sent to landfill.

They are collected from the kerbside on alternate weeks - recycling is normally taken either with the green bin or with the black household waste bin depending on what part of the district you live in.
Full details of your collections can be found at hambleton.gov.uk - along with changes due to bank holidays.
Bins and boxes should be placed at the edge of your property - or at the designated collection point - by 6am on collection day. Feel free to personalise them so you know which are your bins!
Assisted collections are available for anyone who cannot manage to move bins and boxes due to age, disability or medical condition.
If you live in a flat or terraced property alternative arrangements may be made - including the provision of communal bins.
