Vadodara Institute of Engineering (known as VIER) was established in June 2009 with an objective to provide qualitative and value based education to the students. The institute is located in incredible pleasant and peaceful environment, 19 km away from Vadodara Railway Station and 15 km away from Vadodara Airport. The Institute offers degree Engineering Courses in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering and Information Technology. The Institute has campus area of 31 acres with separate departmental buildings, well equipped laboratories, rich library and other indispensable resources to provide excellent learning environment.
Academic Achievements:
Achieved 1st Rank in Vadodara and 4th Rank in Gujarat in recent GTU result of B.E. Sem-VIII May 2019
International Award:
Vadodara Institute of Architecture was recently established in 2018. Architectural building has a unique style design consisting of all the modern facilities and learning resources with main focus on all round development of the students.
National Award:
Winner of Best Design award while representing India at International ROBOCON 2016 held at Bangkok, Thailand on August 21, 2016.

About Department:
Advances and recent trends in welding techniques for advanced materials and structures are needed to meet cost and stringent performance targets to enable wider adoption across multiple industries. The seminar will foster an exchange of information on technical issues and challenges faced in welding technology for achieving high quality products and impacting Indian manufacturing competitiveness in various fields with main emphasis on railways, automobile, aerospace and defense industries.
In addition to the basic concept of Welding Technology, the participants will be exposed to learn various advancement of welding related technologies and other allied sciences.
Participants gain knowledge of flexible learning in various aspects of welding and related technology that suit the requirement of various levels and the application of NDT in engineering and wide exposure to non-destructive testing and its methods in solving quantitative and qualitative manufacturing problems.
Mechanical Engineering Department was established in 2011. Department has state of art laboratories. Department encourages faculties to constantly update & upgrade their skills through seminars, conferences, short term training, Faculty Development Programme etc.
