Objective Statement

I am a Ball State graduate with a degree in Actuarial Science who is anxious to begin my career as an actuary. Looking to find a position where I can learn from seasoned professionals while continuing to pass actuarial exams. I am not just a numbers person, but someone who excels in data analysis, can work in a dynamic environment, and functions successfully in a team. I am looking for a company willing to mold me into their perfect actuary.

Work Experience

Softlines/Presentation/Visual Merchandising Team Member – Target November 2015 to Present

I provide guest (customer) service on the sales floor in the clothing, shoe, and accessory departments. I also stock and organize those areas in the Bolingbrook store. I work as a cashier and assist in other departments of the store as needed. Within the small amount of time I have been there, I have already been trained in multiple different areas and am in the training process to become a Team Lead.

Centennial Beach Grill Crew Leader – Naperville Park District May to August 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015

I managed the daily operations of the concession stand. This included delegating responsibilities among staff, writing and giving evaluations, dealing with last minute staff schedule changes, reconciling daily sales and cash, providing periodic hands-on training, delivering outstanding customer service following Naperville Park District policies, and addressing escalated customer issues.

Student Teaching Intern – Naperville Central High School February to May 2011

I taught high school geometry as part of an Introduction to Teaching course during my senior year. I prepared three lessons, delivered classroom instruction, and assisted students with homework in the classroom.
