A hidden gem in the tranquil setting of the Bath Botanical Gardens, The Temple of Minerva is licensed for up to 35 guests for a seated civil ceremony. Open up the doors and with seating outside your guest numbers can easily double.

Beside the Temple there is a lawned area suitable for a marquee and with numerous photographic opportunities, The Botanical Gardens provides a wonderful backdrop for your celebrations.

From a practical perspective The Temple of Minerva is heated, has a small kitchen and there is a loo with disabled access.

ROYAL VICTORIA PARK& BANDSTAND

LOCATED IN THE HEART OF THE CITY OF BATH AND SET IN FIFTY SEVEN ACRES OF PICTURESQUE GROUNDS, ROYAL VICTORIA PARK IS A MAGNIFICENT SETTING FOR YOUR WEDDING CELEBRATIONS.

The iconic Royal Crescent forms the perfect backdrop and is one of the greatest examples of Georgian architecture to be found in the UK.

The Grade II listed bandstand was designed by Charles Davis in 1887 with accoustics in mind. When your ceremony is complete why not let a brass band take over the bandstand, erect a traditional rope and pole marquee and create a truly vintage feel to your special day.

The North end of the garden is made up of informal lawns and next to the colonnades large marquees suitable for up to 100 guests can be used.

There are public toilets in the park but we suggest that you supply portble toilets for your guests - that is unless you have a never ending supply of 20p’s!

Licenced for civil ceremonies for up to 100 guests, at Parade Gardens you have the flexibilty to have a very grand or equally intimate wedding in this stunning city garden.

The historical Bath Abbey is just a stones-throw away and provides an astonishing and unique vista for creating wonderful memories to last a lifetime.

CEREMONIES - WHAT’S INCLUDED?

Each ceremony booking is a 4 hour consecutive period which you can choose (subject to availability), we will set up the chairs if you let us know how you would like them so you can use this time to dress the room or serve drinks to your guests after the ceremony.

Each booking also includes 3 reserved parking bays near to your venue. You must allocate one of these spaces for the Superintendent and the Registrar. You may also request additional spaces at;

£10 per bay, all day for Royal Victoria Park, £12.50—£29 per bay, all day for Parade Gardens.

A member of staff will be on hand throughout your booking to answer any queries you might have.

RECEPTIONS - WHAT’S INCLUDED?

Each reception booking gives you use of the site for one full day to allow you to set up your marquee and catering. (If available, you may be able to set up the day before, please note we will only know whether this is possible in the days running up to your event - If you wish to ensure you have access you can reserve the day by paying the equiivalent of four hours at the hourly rate shown for your venue)

Access is permitted from 07:00 hours to set up;

All entertainment/music must be finished at 23:59 hours and your guests must vacate the site.

All marquees, equipment, waste etc. must be cleared from the site by 12 noon the day following your booking.

Access to outdoor grade electrical connections is available at our venues and use is included in your hire providing you follow the safety guidelines.
