IR|REGULARITY IS A MUSEUM LO-CATED IN NEW YORK CITY. THE CONCEPT BEHIND IRREGULAR-ITY WAS A SYSTEMATIC STACK-ING OF BOXES WHICH WAS THEN COVEERED IN A SECOND SKIN. THE SECOND SKIN WAS A FRITTED GLASS WHICH PROVIDED SHADE TO THE EXTERIOR SPACES THE BUILDING PROVIDES FOR SCULP-TURE AND WINTER GARDENS.

HARVEST WAS A PROJECT LOCATED IN ASHEVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA. THE MAIN GOAL OF THIS HARVEST WAS TO USE LOCAL RESOURCES AND INTEGRATE THEM INTO THE DESIGN AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE. THE PEOPLE OF ASHEVILLE WANTED A PLACE WHICH REFLECTED THE IDENTITY OF THERE HOMETOWN.

TECTONIC BOXIN THE MAKING OF THE TECTONIC BOX, I TOOK A NORMAL RECTANGULAR BOX AND INTERSECTED IT WITH AN ORGAN-IC SHAPE. TAKING THIS ABNORMAL SHAPE I CREATED A BUILDABLE OB-JECT WHICH WAS PLACED IN A HARSH NORTHERN LANDSCAPE. LASTLY, THE BOX WAS BUILT IN PHYSICAL FORM.

LIGHTWALLTHE ASHEVILLE LIGHTWALL WAS AN URBAN INTERVENTION TO CREATE A TEMPORARY WALL THAT RAISED AND LOWERED. THE WALL’S COLORS WERE BASED ON THE SOUND INPUT FROM SURROUND-ING PEOPLE, CARS AND CITY LIFE.
