international Social Intranet of the Group.
Detailed profiles, activity streams, micro-
blogging, messaging and sharing are some
of the features designed for the Elica’s
Social Intranet.
The portal is an important tool to simplify
the internal communication and replace
the traditional unidirectional mode,
Business to Employee, and promote
aggregation’s dynamics.
Liferay Portal is the
platform chosen for the
implementation of the
project, both for the UX
design and for the
customization of the
platform, the
implementation of
application components
and integration with the
Group's IT ecosystem.

Intranet designed to promote internal
communication, provide operational
services and promote a new way of working
for more than 8,000 employees in 800
branches.

WEShare is the Social Intranet of Coin
Group (now OVS Group) created to support
the training processes and promote
collaboration in the Group.
It is a point of personalized access to
business communications, training and
discussion areas for over 10,000 people. The
intranet is integrated with the most important
business applications and available from
anywhere using all types of devices.

The technological platform
used is tibbr, for the
intuitiveness of the user
interface, the multi-device
and multi-platform identity,
and the integration
possibilities.

portal Benassicura.it, for the promotion of
the new insurance policy of Direct Line
and the online purchase of the product.
Ariadne led the technical
realization of the portal,
using the latest version of
Liferay with integration of
quoting and purchasing
services provided by
Direct Line.

Design and development of the system for
international web search, browsing and
sharing of all the material relating to the life
cycle of products.
Ariadne was responsible
for the technical
implementation of the
solution and design using
technology based on
Liferay CE.
ARTEMIDE KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT PORTAL
GI GROUP
The project stems from the need to create a
new responsive portal based on a single
infrastructure with Liferay technology.
MyGigroup portal is a candidate web site
with the functionality of collection and
classification of skills and work
experience. The system is integrated with a
semantic engine for cataloging curricula and
allows searching of the available positions
for geographical area and area of expertise.
Ariadne was responsible
for all phases of the project
from the analysis and UX
design, up to development
and testing.
The platform used has
been Liferay EE.
GI GROUP RECRUITMENT PORTAL
CANDY
Creation of a multi-country B2C portal for
Candy Group.
Redesign and re-engineering of candy.it,
comes from the need to integrate
functionally the products management
application within the portal, focusing on
images and technical details of the range.
The portal is completely responsive.
The portal was realized by
Ariadne on Liferay CE
platform and integrates PLM
(Products Lifecycle
Management) and CRM
(Salesforce) systems.
The catalog is synchronized
with PLM and is updated
every night.
CANDY B2C PORTAL
KPMG
In the last years KPMG entrusted the
development to over 20 E-Learning portals
for large companies and multinationals to
Ariadne.
Ongoing technology
partnership since 2003,
aimed at customization of
e-learning platforms
(Oracle iLearning -
Moodle) and the
development of modules
for the gap analysis and
career management.
