Q. How do I know how many dies I will be charged for?A. You will only be charged a die for each side that has a design.

Q. What if exactly the same design is on both sides of the medal?A. You will still be charged for 2 dies as we would have to make 2 dies to produce your design.

Q. What if my design has ‘cut-outs’?A. You will be charged 2 dies even if the reverse of your medal is plain, as a second die has to be produced to incorporate any cut-outs.

Q. Can I have printed ribbons?A. Yes. We can overprint your ribbons in a single colour or multicolour, please contact us for your specific requirements.

Q. Do you have any other optional extras for medals?A. Yes. We have a variety of optional extras that will further enhance your medals including crystal inserts, extra thick medals and advertising cards.The only limit is your imagination!

Q. Where are the medals manufactured?A. All our bespoke personalised medals are manufactured in our partner factory in China, for the very best quality at effectively wholesale prices.

Q. I have heard that the medals can be produced and delivered in only 6 weeks or even less, is that correct?A. Yes, they can. Once you have ‘signed-off’ the artwork and approved your design it can take only 6 weeks (and sometimes less) to produce and deliver your medals if we use air freight.

Q. Is there a surcharge for the medals to be flown in?A. Yes there is a nominal charge. Depending on the size of medals and quantity, it can be less than 25p per medal. We will give you an exact quotation at the time of ordering if you require this express delivery service.

Q. Can I order bespoke medals without having to pay the express delivery air freight charge?A. Yes, if you are able to place your order further in advance and use our 12 week sea freight delivery.

Q. Does the 6 or 12 week production lead time include delivery to me?A. Yes.

Q. What if I receive more entries than anticipated, can I order a ‘last minute top-up’ to my medal order?A. Yes. We can produce a ‘top-up’ to your order within a lead time of 3-4 weeks.

Q. How do I work out my medal price?A. All prices shown are based on circular 3mm thick medals. For example, if your design is 50mm in diameter look in the 50mm column prices etc.

Q. What if my medals are rectangular?A. If the longest side is at least 20mm more than the shorter side, for example 60mm x 40mm, look under the 60mm prices, and if they are 50mm x 30mm look under the 50mm prices etc.

Q. How can I work out the price if my medals are not circular or rectangular?A. Simply send us a diagram showing us the shape and size of your required medal (it can be ANY shape including with cut-outs) and we will give you an exact quotation within 24 hours.

Q. Can my medals be thicker or thinner than 3mm?A. Yes. We can produce medals in any thickness from 2mm up to 20mm thick if required.

Q. How will this affect my price?A. As a general guideline please add 10% to our printed prices for every 1mm of additional medal thickness required. However, please contact us with your specific requirements and we will give you an exact quotation within 24 hours.

Q. Can I mix the medal finish colours (e.g. AntiqueGold,AntiqueSilver,AntiqueBronzeetc.)withinmyorder?A. Yes.

Q. Will there be any extra charge for this?A. No.

Q. If I only have a rough sketch of my medal design, is that alright?A. No problem. Simply send us your guidelines with any logos (if any) you want incorporating and we will design the medal for you FREE of Charge! (see FREE design service on page 3).

Q. I understand that you have different background stipple effects that I can incorporate into my design?A. Yes. We have a variety of background stipple effects that can be incorporated into your design (see right). Simply quote the stipple effect number(s) on your mock-up or contact us for a FREE sample.

Q. How long will it take for me to receive artwork back from you for approval?A. Normally within 3 to 4 working days.

Q. When I have received my medal design backforapproval,whatifIrequiresomechanges?A. No problem, we will keep amending your design until you are completely happy with it!

Q. Will there be any charge for these amendments?A. Absolutely not.

LAPEL PIN BADGE FITTINGSThe 2 most common types of lapel pin badge fittings are:

•Broochattachment•Butterflyclutchattachment

Both are available in gold or silver depending on the badge colour.

Made initially like soft enamel pin badges but infilled with a powdered glass mixture which when fired in a kiln at a high temperature results in a highly polished bright shine.

• Send your design to us by email• State quantity required• State size required (size is measured to the longest point)• State your shape• State which fitting you require on the reverse• State required by date• We will then send you a pre-production proof• Upon confirmation of the proof we will commence with production.• Production usually takes 4 - 5 weeks.

Used when photographic images or gradients of colours are required. The design is photo printed onto a blank pin badge then coated with a clear epoxy dome to protect the image.

Made using the same process as soft enamel pin badges but without the resin enamel infill.
