BASIC INFORMATION: The virtual show will be managed and produced by Cyber Stock Show through Walton Webcasting, https://www.cyberstockshow.tv/ The virtual show will be live streamed on August 5 th at which time you will have the opportunity to watch your entry being judged and see the results as it is happening. ENTRY INFORMATION: If you wish to participate in the Virtual Show you must enter your animal online through the Cyber Stock Show website at https://www.cyberstockshow.tv/ Entries will be received between July 24 th thru 31 st . The Deadline to enter is Friday, July 31 st @ 5pm. Only (1) market animal can be entered per exhibitor. When the exhibitor clicks the green Registration Open button under the Yuba Sutter Fair Logo they will process their entry by adding to ‘the cart’ and will receive an order number & an automated email will be sent to the email address they provide. The automated email will thank them for their order and say ‘Register Here’ in purple...You can then click on ‘Register Here’ & it will populate the Entry Form. Complete the entry form with the proper Division and Classification of your entry. The exhibitor will be required to submit a video of the animal. Video requirements for each of the species are available at https://www.cyberstockshow.tv/ and also included in this informational guide. BASIC INFORMATION: The virtual show will be managed and produced by Cyber Stock Show through Walton

Webcasting, https://www.cyberstockshow.tv/ The virtual show will be live streamed on August 5th at which time you will have the opportunity to

watch your entry being judged and see the results as it is happening.

ENTRY INFORMATION: If you wish to participate in the Virtual Show you must enter your animal online through the Cyber

Stock Show website at https://www.cyberstockshow.tv/ Entries will be received between July 24th thru 31st. The Deadline to enter is Friday, July 31st @ 5pm. Only (1) market animal can be entered per exhibitor. When the exhibitor clicks the green Registration Open button under the Yuba Sutter Fair Logo they

will process their entry by adding to ‘the cart’ and will receive an order number & an automated email will be sent to the email address they provide. The automated email will thank them for their order and say ‘Register Here’ in purple...You can then click on ‘Register Here’ & it will populate the Entry Form. Complete the entry form with the proper Division and Classification of your entry.

The exhibitor will be required to submit a video of the animal. Video requirements for each of the species are available at https://www.cyberstockshow.tv/ and also included in this informational guide.

The exhibitor will need to weigh their animal utilizing their own scale or their club’s/chapter’s scale and include that weight when entering the virtual show. The animal will be weighed with the fairground’s certified scales for an official weight after the auction on the date of receiving the animal for transport to the processing plant.

Videos are to be uploaded directly from the device that the video was recorded on. Texting/emailing compromises the quality.

No editing is allowed. Must be a continuous video, with no stopping and restarting. No zooming in and out.

Videos must be taken during the entry time frame. Old video footage will not be accepted. Refer to the tutorial videos before filming your animal and additional requirements for specific

species on the Cyber Livestock Show page which can be found at https://www.cyberstockshow.tv/

Please provide side, rear, & chest shots & video of your animal on the move. Please observe the sample video for guidance. Not providing all angles could cost you advancing into the next round.

Outside on level ground is best. Sound will not be used so the camera person can talk to the showman while videoing. Chickens and Rabbits should be videoed as if they were being exhibited in a market class at the

fair. Utilize a table to display the animal in the same positions as you would in a regular “live” judging competition.

Turkeys should be videoed as if they were being exhibited in a market class at the fair. Display the animal in the same position as the you would in a regular “live” judging competition and provide a side, rear, & chest shot of your animal on the move.

PICTURE REQUIREMENTS: Each exhibitor is required to email a picture with their animal to the fair office that will be used for

the Online Jr. Livestock Auction. The picture will not be needed or used in the virtual show. The DEADLINE date to email the photo is Friday, July 24th. Email the picture to the Fair Office @ [email protected]. The picture must be in a JPEG format. The exhibitor must be dressed in the YS Fair official 4-H, FFA, Grange or Independent uniform.

The picture must include the exhibitor with a side view of the animal that displays the animal’s body from head to tail and all four legs.

RULES: All Local & State Rules apply. These rules are available in the 2020 Yuba-Sutter Fair Jr. Livestock

Competition Guidebook and can also be viewed online at https://ysfair.com/fair/pdfs/2020/livestock/2020-Local-State-Rules.pdf

All animals are REQUIRED to participate in the virtual show in order for the animal to qualify for the Jr. Livestock Auction. The animal must be declared “Market Ready” by the judge in order to qualify for the Jr. Livestock Auction.

All Market Animals that are exhibited in the Virtual Show and are declared “Market Ready” are required to sell in the Online Jr. Livestock Auction. All Market animal lots in the auction will sell as “terminal lots.” No “Live Pickup” of the market animal lots is available.

Additional Rule: All animals must be received in the same fashion as they were exhibited in the Virtual Show. For example: (1) A Black steer shown in the haired division must be received with hair and not have any hair removed or be body clipped after the virtual video was completed. (2) A lamb shown with wooly legs must be received with wooly legs and no wool removed from the animal after the virtual video was completed.

Exhibitors are required to complete and submit the Exhibitor Responsibility Form. (See Attached)

ONLINE JR. LIVESTOCK AUCTION The auction is live for bidding between Friday, August 7th & Saturday, August 8th. Each animal and vocational project will be sorted in the sale by a lot number. The sale lots will be available to view and bid on the website starting on Friday, August 7th @ 8 am.

The first lot is set to close at 1 pm on Saturday, August 8th. The lots following will close in a staggered form by the lot number.

The species sale order will be as follows: Sheep, Swine, Beef, Goats, Turkeys, Chickens, Rabbits, Vocational Projects and conclude with Bred Replacement Heifers

The sale lots will be sorted in order by species. The champions of each specie will be the lead lots of that specie. The following lots of that specie will be sorted by alphabetical order of the exhibitor’s last name.

Exhibitors are required to sell the same animal that was exhibited in the virtual show that qualified for the sale.

Exhibitor’s are encouraged to direct buyers to the fair website or to bidcal.com to review the Buyer’s “How To” Guide.

ADD-ON SUPPORT OPTIONS ONLINE AUCTION ADD-ON Procedure:

Online Add-on Support will be available through www.bidcal.com from August 7th thru 8th.

You can add-on to an individual exhibitor through the online auction while the sale is taking place by looking up that individual’s lot.

You can purchase a general support add-on that will be equally applied among each specie to all exhibitors in the sale.

FAIR OFFICE ADD-ON Procedure: The fair office will be accepting add-on support forms from July 15th thru August 14th. Supporters can provide add-on support to an individual, a certain group, or all the

exhibitors by coming into the fair office and completing an add-on form. The add-on support forms are included in this package and also available on the

fair’s website at www.ysfair.com on the Jr. Livestock Auction page. AFTER THE AUCTION: All market animals must be delivered to the Yuba-Sutter Fairgrounds after the auction per the

Receiving Schedule below for transport to the harvesting facilities. Violation of this rule will cause disqualification of the exhibitor and forfeiture of all premiums and auction proceeds.

Exhibitors are required to provide a completed Medication Declaration Form for their market animal upon delivery to the fairgrounds. (See Attached Form)

All animals must be healthy upon delivery. Exhibitors are required to deliver the same animal that was exhibited in the virtual show and sold in

the Online Jr. Livestock Auction. Violation of this rule will cause disqualification of the exhibitor and forfeiture of all premiums and auction proceeds.

The animal will be weighed with the fairground’s certified scales for an official weight after the auction on the date of receiving the animal for transport to the processing plant.

• RECEIVING SCHEDULE: Deliver the market animals to the fairground per the schedule below: Turkeys, Chickens, Rabbits: Thursday, August 6th from 6 am to 7:30 am Market Swine: Monday, August 10th from 4 pm to 8 pm Market Sheep: Monday, August 10th from 7 am to 9 am Market Goats: Monday, August 10th from 7 am to 9 am Market Steers: TO BE DETERMINED – Fair will be providing an update to all beef exhibitors soon! Bred Replacement Heifers: Fair Office will coordinate pickup & delivery of the bred

replacement heifers directly with the buyer & seller upon complete payment within 3 days following the sale.

In the event the YSF is subject to any expense or liability, including, but not limited to, consultant fees, legal or court costs, YSF management labor and expenses, expenses and/or costs for blood, tissue, urine, hide and/or carcasses sampling and testing incurred as a result of YSF rule and regulation violation and all agreements thereunder, including, but not limited to, unethical fitting, filling, meat tampering, illegal or non-approved use of drugs, medication and/or prohibited substance(s) as a result or Participant's involvement in The Yuba-Sutter Fair Junior Livestock Show and Auction, Participants, or if participant is a minor, Participant's parent or guardian, shall indemnify and hold harmless The Yuba-Sutter Fair for all damages, expenses and liabilities incurred as a result thereof. Participants may also be subject to criminal charges. The Participants will have full control, custody, care, and feeding of any animal(s) and/or personal property which are brought on or about the premises of The Yuba-Sutter Fairgrounds. It is clearly understood between Participants and The YSF that, as a material condition to any participant entering or showing at The Yuba-Sutter Fair Junior Livestock Show and Auction, YSF will at no time have control, custody, or care of any animal(s) and/or personal property which are brought on or about The Yuba-Sutter Fairgrounds. As an animal exhibitor in The Yuba-Sutter Fair Junior Program: I believe my participation should demonstrate my own ability, knowledge and skill as a feeder and fitter of my show animal(s). I understand the need to be responsible for developing the skills necessary to take my animal(s) from the farm to the showring. I will assist other juniors, if asked, or request assistance from other juniors exhibiting in the Junior Show.
