Working in Camera Raw5.0 (Adobe)The advantage and challenge of working in RAW is that the camera is not Automatically doing preset image corrections for you. You need to correct / adjust image settings manually.

– Lens Correction-Adjust sliders to correct / apply dodging or burning of the corners to counter the vignetting created by creating a square photography with a round lens.

– BASIC- Work on White Balance and Exposure correction and possible fill light adjustment

– TONE CURVE- Use the curves graph to correct the value of the histogram

– SHARPENING -Control the amount of Sharpening and noise control in the image

– HSL / GRAYSCALE AND SPLIT TONING- Adjust color, saturation and luminance for every color hue

– Use the adjustment Brush to adjust exposure, bright / contrast / saturation, sharpness, etc… with a brush tool7 – Before pressing “Open Image”, be sure to adjust the image resolution so that the RAW resolution won’t be compressed. (Try 300ppi or greater!)
