Summary of Requirements in Expanded Ras Laffan Port

•LNG exports minimum of 8 berths with storage tanks•Liquid Berths minimum of 12 berths with storage tanks•Dry Cargo Berths

–Sulphur processing and storage plus up to 2 berths –Containerised Dry Export storage up to 7 berths–Additional Heavy Lift Berths

•Offshore Vessels Support Berths total length 1600m minimum•Ship Dry Dock & Repair facility required in Southern Basin•Ammonia/Urea plant outside port but storage within the port•Water side space within the harbour for Rig Component Fabrication•Additional berths for tugs etc & possible relocation of Control Tower•Early facilities importation of construction materials barge/ ship•Adequate water area to act as cooling water basin
