THE REPORT

The growth of any nation and development of the entrepreneurship is inseparable. Hence

an entrepreneurship development gets a special attention and holds exclusive importance today.

Imparting entrepreneurial skills among the young students is possible only by the dedicated

institutions. Sai Vidya Institute of Technology is one among few such institutions which would

like to develop such entrepreneurs and Intrapreneurs.

The main objective of inculcating ED cell in our institution is as follows

1. To create the entrepreneurial spirit among the students.

2. To create employers as well Intrapreneurs

3. To act as platform for accessing funding from government and other professional agencies for

entrepreneurship development..

4. To create an incubation cell for Technoprenuers in future.

To fulfill these objectives, the ED cell inauguration was organized at our college on

1/04/2015. This ED cell was inaugurated by the chief Guest Mr. Raman Gujral, Incharge EDI,

Southern Regional Office, Bangalore along with our Director and principal.

Dr. Ramesh Babu H. S., Principal, SVIT welcomed the gathering and he expressed the

SVIT’s keen interest on opening ED cell.

Prof D. Jogish, HOD, Dept. of Management Studies & ED cell coordinator briefed about

EDI Ahmadabad, and forecasted plans of ED cell in SVIT.

Prof M. R. Holla, Director, SVIT presided over the programme. Followed by him Mr.

Yashswi Nag, Project Officer, EDI addressed the gathering with the need of ED cell in any

institution and he addressed the entire SVIT students community with the insight on

entrepreneurship and this session was an interactive session.

The chief guest Shri Raman Gujral, Incharge EDI, SRO Bangalore addressed the

gathering.
