Niyah = you feel the pleasure of the deed, taste the sweetness of the deed. You will not do it because it is just a habit. You will get multiple rewards and love to do this good deed. The Virtues are the rewards of the good deeds.

WUDU & PURIFICATION

Niyah is in your heart – you don’t necessarily have to utter it. Wudu is a means to pray, to read the Qur’an, Ibadah etc. By itself it is a worship. Hadith: when one breaks his wudu he will renew his wudu even if not praying, he will be considered among the believers. They will be among the people who have the title Al Mumin. We all have a title with Allah subhana wa ta'ala, everyone of us. One thing you will get by always being in a state of wudu is the title, A Believer. Niyah you will get multiple rewards and love to do good deeds Virtues of wudu and Intention

• Renewing your wudu every time you break your wudu you will be considered a Mumin – always in a state of wudu

• All the sins will be expiated and the sins will come out. You will be purified from the sins

• When making wudu once, twice or thrice. Washing once is the minimum. When washing twice you will get double the rewards. When you wash three times this is the wudu of Nabi ṣallallāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam and has the maximum rewards. One should say the dhikr after the wudu as the eight gates of heaven will be open for you on the Day of Judgement.

• Nur al Qiyahmah - On the day of Judgment Allah subhana wa ta'ala will resurrect you with the parts of the wudu having a light

• Hadith: Prophet Muhammad ṣallallāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam wishes to meet his friends. The sahabah asked are we not your friends? Prophet Muhammad ṣallallāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam said ‘You are my companions. My friends will come after me and believe in me’. The sahabah asked how will you recognize them. Prophet Muhammad ṣallallāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam said ‘I will recognize them with the traces of the wudu’.

• Wudu with hardship i.e. in cold weather you only have cold water. It will elevate you in rank.

• Making wudu before sleeping. Allah subhana wa ta'ala will assign an angel between his gowns. As he turns while sleeping the angels will make du’a for him. ‘O Allah forgive so and so as he slept in a state of wudu’.

• When you sleep in a state of wudu and you wake up in the night and you make du’a – anything you ask Allah subhana wa ta'ala when you just open your eyes Allah subhana wa ta'ala will grant you your du’a.

• The wudu is one third of the prayer – the key to the khushoo in prayer. The prayer has 3 parts - the wudu - the ruku - bowing - the sujood – prostrating

Obligatory and Voluntary Intention:

- Allah subhana wa ta'ala on the Day of Judgement will first see your salat, if your salat is correct every other good deed will be acceptable.

I want acceptance of all my other good deeds.

Assalatu Nur

In life – your prayers will guide you to make the correct decisions in everything, dealing with people etc In the grave – there is a darkness in the grave. Your prayers will be a light. On The Siratt – there will be darkness. The bridge is thinner than a hair and sharper than a sword. Your prayers will be a light Hadith: imagine outside your house there is a river. You wash yourself in this river five times a day. Will you have any dirt on you?

Allah subhana wa ta'ala will give you the forgiveness – free you from all sins. So many chances we have to expiate our sins – from KaramAllah. Hadith: the man who prays the 5 obligatory prayers will have the title As Sadiqeena

You are dealing with someone so generous. The niyah is to do with your heart – Allah subhana wa ta'ala only wants your heart. In life we sin, we feel frustrated that we sin. The prayer will stop you from the evil and from committing the sin.

The salat will protect you from falling into sin.

We need to maintain the niyat of wanting the Pleasure of Allah in all our ibadat – everyone will be pleased with you and accept you.

When a person loves you, you feel happy. When the Creator Loves you imagine. In my heart I want Allah subhana wa ta'ala to love me and Allah subhana wa ta'ala knows what is in my heart. Allah subhana wa ta'ala will give to you according to your intention.

Allah subhana wa ta'ala prepared Paradise for His special servants before our own creation.

Everything is based on the intention – so we need to take care of it. The place of the intention is in the heart. To move the heart is more difficult than to move your tongue and limbs. Allah subhana wa ta'ala loves His creation to be close to Him, to invoke Him. Originally we were commanded to do 50 prayers a day. The five obligatory prayers are equivalent to 50 prayers. Intentions Within the Salat

- opening supplication o Gates of Heaven

- Ameen o Forgiveness of Sins o Response to my du’a

- Ruku o 4 rewards

- Sujood o 8 rewards

Opening your prayer with the best invocation and supplicating Allah subhana wa ta'ala. Allahu akbar kabeera, x3 Allah is the Greatest, Most Great Walhamdu lillahi katheera, x3 Praise is to Allah, Abundantly Wa Subhanallaahi bukratan wa aseela Glory is to Allah, at the break of day and at it’s end. Hadith: Prophet Muhammad ṣallallāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam was praying with the sahabah. A man came and started praying and said this invocation. Prophet Muhammad ṣallallāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam asked who made this invocation. Prophet Muhammad ṣallallāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam said to the man ‘that when you utter these words the gates of heaven will be open. Umar never left this type of supplication. - After reciting al Fathiha saying Ameen.

Hadith: Prophet Muhammad ṣallallāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam said ‘As soon the iman say’s Ameen you will say Ameen, the malaika are saying Ameen; Allah subhana wa ta'ala will forgive you for your past sins. Allah subhana wa ta'ala will respond to you du’a. Ameen = ‘O Allah respond to my du’a.’ You want Allah subhana wa ta'ala to accept your invocation. Also when praying alone the angels will say Ameen and Allah subhana wa ta'ala will respond to your du’a.

Your mind may wander when you don’t realise the meaning of these actions. - Sujood

All in the heart – we need to thank Allah subhana wa ta'ala for the sujood, that Allah subhana wa ta'ala allowed us to prostrate to Him. By itself this is an honour.

For one sujood you receive: One hasanat One sin is removed Elevated one level in Paradise. Sujood is the closest place to Allah subhana wa ta'ala – so imagine how much Allah subhana wa ta'ala will give you. One of the sahabah wanted to accompany Prophet Muhammad ṣallallāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam on the Day of Judgement. Prophet Muhammad ṣallallāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam said if you want to be my companion in Paradise, the more you are doing sujood (increasing your prayer) the more you will meet Prophet Muhammad ṣallallāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam and accompany him in Paradise. Your forehead, the place you put on the floor – On the Day of Judgement Allah will command the angels to bring out the believers. The angels will recognize them from their foreheads – because their foreheads prostrated to Allah subhana wa ta'ala. - The tahiyyat

Peace be upon us and peace be upon all the righteous Slaves of Allah. (As-salamu ‘alayna wa ala ‘ibadil-la his-saliheen) This invocation will reach every righteous slave in the Heavens and the Earth. In return you will get the same for making du’a for the people in their absence. When pointing with your index finger This will be more sever and harsher on the shaitan (dispraised and weak) than iron; as you are witnessing that no god deserves to be worshipped except Allah subhana wa ta'ala. Imagine this light movement done for the Sake of Allah subhana wa ta'ala, you are doing it because you are obeying Allah subhana wa ta'ala and obeying Prophet Muhammad ṣallallāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam. Fix my obligatory prayer – any lacking in my obligatory prayer The more you are doing the voluntary prayer – Allah subhana wa ta'ala will Love you. You will enter Paradise from the Door of the Prayer. People of the grave – they will regret those living who are praying 2 nawafil (i.e. after wudu). To be rich in this month go to Allah subhana wa ta'ala with this door if you have the time and have the health. Types of Nawfil.

This is better than everything in the dunya and what it contains. Maybe you prefer the sleep. (highly recommended to pray when travelling). Sunnat al Zuhr

4 rakat before Zuhr - You will build your house in Paradise and the gates of Paradise will be opened. 4 rakat before Zuhr and 4 rakat after Zuhr – Hellfire will not touch you. Hadith: 2+2 nawafil before the 4 rakat obligatory prayer - Prophet Muhammad ṣallallāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam said you will get the mercy of Allah subhana wa ta'ala. A special mercy from Allah subhana wa ta'ala. Salatul Dhuhu

The morning prayer – 15 minutes after sunrise, 15 minutes before Zuhr. Another name is salatul Ishraq. Minimum is 2 rakat. Any even number. Prophet Muhammad ṣallallāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam sometimes prayed 2 or 4 or 6 or 8 (8 once when opening Mecca). When you pray early. Hadith: one who prayed Fajr in Jammah and remained in dhikr until Dhuhu, and prayed Dhuhu he will get the reward of Umrah and Hajj. General virtues:

- You are following the advice of Prophet Muhammad ṣallallāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam. You need to bring your heart, gather your heart.

- Salatul awabeen – is another name of this prayer when performed 2 hours before Zuhr. You will get the title Al Awabeen – Oft Repenting to Allah subhana wa ta'ala.

- When you wake up in the morning you should give a sadaqa (charity) for every joint of the body. Prophet Muhammad ṣallallāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam said it will be sufficient for you to pray 2 rakat Salatul Dhuhu.

- Hadith: Prophet Muhammad ṣallallāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam said the one who prays 2+2 rakat’s at the beginning of the morning after sunrise it will be sufficient for you until the end of the day.
