They have been on the Advisory board of many hospitals, trained assessors and set standards for National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Healthcare providers (NABH) of India. We have undergone training programmes in JCI accreditation system, Lean management and Six Sigma as applicable to Healthcare. As faculty we have been involved in teaching hospital designing and planning, quality principles, patient safety, hospital acquired infection, disaster planning, strategic management, rural health planning and other management issues. Our team members have planned many large tertiary care facilities and implemented projects in cutting down cost at planning and operational level of health facilities in India and abroad. We have supervised development of IT software for medical records, hospital management, inventory control, smart cards, and web based interactive forums We have served as Assessors of European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM), Lead Assessor of ISO and NABH. Accreditation is 'A public recognition of the achievement of accreditation standards by a healthcare organisation, demonstrated through an independent external peer assessment of that organisation's level of performance in relation to the standards'.

Accreditation of the processes and services employed by the healthcare facility results in a number of benefits to all stakeholders:

NABH is a constituent board of Quality Council of India, set up to establish and operate accreditation programme for healthcare organisations.
