About the studio-RAHStudio-RAH was founded in 2015 and aptly chose the name “RAH”, Ra-h: the path; believ-ing in showing the way to your new design environment. We are proud of our diverse team of creative & experienced architects, engineers, consultants and contractors who strongly believe that design built environment should be personal, high quality and afford-able.

Studio-RAH focuses on high standards inarchitecture &interior design. We believe in Accentuation+ Re-engagement+Habitat. The primary motto of our studio is accentuation of existing environment: culture, nature, climatewith re-engagement: restoring and provid-ing a sustainable design habitat to our clients. We believe in creating original, innovative and sustainable designs. We seek to develop each project as its own specific identity by incorporating needs of our clients, as well as optimal spatial formation for every design.

We are responsive on smart concepts like home automation, green building design: GRIHA standards, energy consumption and reuse of waste materials. Our research team based in Massachusetts, USA works on integrating the research element into our design projects. We are dedicated to success of each project within a certain time frame.

PRAVASI BHARTIYA KENDRA- NRI CENTER(Concept design)Site: Located at embassy road, New DelhiAIM: The aim was to design a pravasi bhartiya kendra at embassy road, new delhi for the indian diaspora focus was laid on their cultural and social activities along with their business meetings & conferences, and learning experiences being gained during their stay with professionals and exhibitions showcased at site.

RESTAURANT / EXHIBITION

ENTRANCE GATE:

Restaurant inside the court, connected with all accessible parts of the site serving the luxury of food & space to the public. And the dynamic form of exhibition above the restaurant make ambience of surrounding. Use of glass & solid walls to play with the light & shadow makes it more attractive place.

Dynamic form of entrance attracts to the visitor . It makes curiosity to the people to see inside, The form of gateway showsthe Indian tradition of welcome. Namaskara symble with two connecting arches shows the traditional welcome of visitors.The grad entrance with the huge loby space in the waiting area shows the grandness of entire site. The multifunctional ramp connects to entire site from the entrance.

CENTRIUMCentrium is the place where visitor can connect with every block of the site so this is the most visited place in the center.The centrium is designed very carefully with lush green landcape, the steps for sitting gives it feel of OAT. The green bolcony at irst also gives dynamic experience to visitors from the ramps.

HALL/LIBRARY The ground loor designed as a hall for mutipurpose activity and the irst loor designed for library & reading area. it’s a square in the shape but the whole facade is treated very beautifully. The circular grooves in erregular pattern & opeque glass between makes the combination of solid & void form. This combination also fullill the light & air circulation requirement of the hall & library.

Site: The site is located in the lalghati area near manubhavan tekri . Area: 1.9 Hectare Objective:The objective is to develop a highrise housing within the proper space planning ,clustering & proper use of landscaping elements to gives the people lucxury -space & ssustainable enviornment over a site of 1.9 Ha ,located in Lalghati area Of Bhopal.

HOUSING COMPLEX (Concept design)

CONCEPT:To create built forms that are in sync with nature. The relationship between the built form and the surouning landscape is symbiotic. A PEBBLE has been used as the basic form and all built forms have beenevolved through it PEBBLE being an object which has been shaped by the forces of nature chiseled in due course oftime so that it truly blends with the fabric nature

FOOD AND BEVARAGES

A large indoor space enclosed by a continuous surface devoid of sharp corners compliments this sporting arena, Open plan of this enclosure has an organic approach towards it which further extends to the whole builtform

ACCOMODATIONContinuing on the same theme the accomodati on block is designed so that the guests can hav a look of glit-tering lake and whole compound through there balconies. The minimalistic treatment given to the buildingsadds a special character to their design. Special importance have been given to the climatology of the build- ing ,thus the designed dwellings have excellent airlow and employ many passive heating features like earth tubes, stack effect etc

INNOVATIVE LANDSCAPING SOLAR AND WIND

GREY WATER RECYCLINGGrey water generated by the buildings in the complex is passed through an ar-rangement which ilters this by product and it is then used for maintaining land-scape of the CLUBHOUSE.

Site: The site is located in the koyla nagar, kanpur. Area: 1800 sq.ft.Project status: OngoingDescription:Random Tandem- The subtle play of light and shadows, a contrast between opaqueness and transparency. The house consist of three loors, ground loor has workshop & the remains loorshas living space. It consists of grand space of living, dining, drawing & four set of large bed rooms withthe space of study & library. The projections & balcony created accordingly the sun movement at the site. The house is maintained with the day lighting and natural air circulation system. The house also has the luxury of decorative spaces, corridors & artiicial lighting.

RESIDENCE- VILAProject type: Renovation of first floorLocation: Puranchandra school, Barra-KanpurArea: 33 feet frontage & 20 feet depthDescription: Gray & Black texture is the composition of the frontage design. The different type of element creates the elegency of house. The punctures with the bells inside shows the presence of unit in that area. That area is designed for temple so the bells are produ-ced the voice when air pass through the punctures. The Arch shape lage element showsthe strength of house. The large windows & louvers makes the grand effect.
