HOW DID YOU ATTRACT/ADDRESS

YOUR AUDIENCE?

Front CoverMy masthead was in inspiration of Q. Magazine. My masthead stands out from the background and is easy to recognise from afar.

Key image is a medium close up this allows the audience to see who the issue is focusing on and by having a medium close up it allows the audience to really see all of the characters facial expressions.

The Main cover line is in a large white font to allow it to stand out from the background and this is then easier to read. The content of the cover line anchors the key image on the cover and the content is representing that the character is successful

I made sure that my photo contained strong eye contact to connect with the audience.

The use of props help to portray the music side of the magazine and this shows that the artist is very committed to her work

Contents Page

The largest image on the contents page is of my main story, this allows the audience to know that this is the most important story in the issue. By enticing the audience with large images it makes them fully aware of who the main story is about.

I included a column dedicated to NME magazine this is to show the audience most of the content available in the magazine. By including more artists this will attract many different audiences to the magazine as it will include variety.

By having an editorial it gives the editor an opportunity to give their opinions and there point of view of the current issue.

Extra images that show content and other artists within the issue. By having other images it shows that the magazine has diversity and variety

Colour Scheme: i made sure my colour scheme was consistent and recognisable from the front cover. By having white, black and green it allows all the colours to compliment each other and allows all the text to be easily read. The magazine has to be attractive and aesthetically pleasing and has to look good.
