Qoros Delivers First Customer Car

[Shanghai, 31 December 2013] Six years after the formation of the new international car brand,Qoros today reached the biggest milestone in its history so far, as it handed over its firstcustomer car.

At a celebratory event at the Guanshan dealership in Shanghai, Mr Yu Min, a 28­year old interiordesigner from Shanghai, was handed the keys to his brand new Qoros 3 Sedan by Mr VolkerSteinwascher, Vice Chairman of Qoros.

The car being handed over is an Elegance model in Macadamia Brown.

At the ceremony, Mr. Yu said: “I’m thrilled to be the first customer in China to take ownership of aQoros 3 Sedan. As a designer, I like its elegant styling, the spacious interior, its refinement, andthe QorosQloudTM connected services, which will make the car part of my digital life. Moreover,it’s reassuring to know the car is safe, having been awarded the five­star rating by Euro NCAP.”He added: “I chose a Qoros 3 Sedan because I like to try something new and understand that itstands for a brand doing things differently..  Qoros may be new but its products are exceptionallywell­engineered and well­built. The purchase experience was also very refreshing, with amodern, innovative dealership and highly attentive staff who provided an excellent service. It istaking an innovative approach that I have never seen from a car brand before.”

Based on in­depth research of how modern metropolitan lifestyles and driving needs are bestmet, the Qoros 3 Sedan has been developed to European standards of safety, refinement andquality. Priced from 119,900 RMB to 167,900 RMB, the car has been widely praised for itselegant design, refined driving experience, and European standards of quality. Its QorosQloudconnected services – accessed via an eight­inch touchscreen fitted as standard across therange – offer several world­first enhanced, easy­to­use entertainment, navigation,communication, and vehicle monitoring functions.

In September 2013, the Qoros 3 Sedan became the first car developed in China to be awardedfive stars in Euro NCAP crash tests, and also the highest score in the organization’s 2013assessment programme so far. The car features the best Euro NCAP crash safety score of2013, class­leading aerodynamics, fuel efficiency and NVH standards, timeless elegant styling,generous interior space and innovative premium features like the connected QorosQloudservices.

Based on an innovative modular platform, the Qoros 3 Sedan spearheads the development andintroduction of a family of new models, each member of which will be introduced at six­to­twelvemonth intervals.
