Be well groomed. First appearances matter!

Line-up an interview wardrobe.Professional suit, tie, freshly pressed shirt and dress shoes make you look like you know what your doing.Carry a professional folio/organizer.

Mind your P’s and Q’s.Do not chew gum, eat food or drink!Turn off your cell phone while at the interview. (Calls can wait.)Know where you are heading before you leave the house.

Leave yourself enough time to get to the interview and check your appearance. - 10 minutes should suffice. Being late is a

bad way to start.

Remember the name of the person interviewing you.

Have several copies of your resume ready.

Relax and answer each question concisely. • avoid simple “yes” or “no” responses

Use your body language to show interest (nod, make eye contact, don’t slouch).
