Directions for Nemo: Punch out a wide oval out of Tangerine Tango card stock. Using a pencil draw light lines like shown to get the basic fish shape out of the oval. Then cut on the lines.

Using the ¾” circle punch you are going to draw on lines like shown for the fins. The front fin is smaller then the back fin. I also did the same thing for the tail fin except used the 1” circle punch so it would be larger.

Here is the body with the fins on. Do not glue these on yet.

For the stripes I just cut white cardstock freehand and used the black marker to color the edges. In this picture I have the front circle cut freehand but I found it better to use punches. (In the next step) Once you have these strips, glue them on and then trim the edges to the edge of the body shape.

The better way I found to make the front circle is to use the 1 3/8” circle punch to make the inside cut and then put that into the 1 ¾” circle punch to cut the outside circle. This gave more room to put his eyes and mouth. The eyes are using the middle sized circle on the owl punch. The top fins are using the ¾” circle punch for the big one and the large circle on the Owl Punch for the small one. For both I just cut the top edge uneven and used the black marker to go around the outside. I used the black marker for the mouth with the white gel pen for the teeth. Your Nemo is finished!

Directions for the Diorama Card: For the back of the diorama card I used a whisper white piece of card stock that is 4 ¼” (tall) x 4 ½”. Then this Marina Mist piece is 4 ½” x 3”. I used the wide oval punch to cut the waves in the top. I made sure it hit the edges at 2 ¾” so it will line up with the front of the card. You can tape this down on the card back.

Then for the pop-out part you will need a 5 ½” x 3” piece that will be scored ½” in from each long end. On the scored tabs you are going to cut them to a height of 2 ¾”. On the right you see the front piece that is 7 ½” x 3”. This will be scored ½” and 1 ½” in from both long sides. The tab part will also be cut to 2 ¾”.

Now you will want to use the wide oval punch to cut waves in all of them making sure to end at that 2 ¾” height on the sides. You want to cut an opening in the front of the card like shown. I made it 3 ½” across and 1 ¾” high. It is ½” away from the bottom and sides.

I folded the front of the card on the score marks and using tombow glue or sticky strip tape put the other piece in the center and glued the tabs in. Now put glue on the back tabs and stick this to the front of the card. (You might want to decorate your card before you put it together but I waited until the end.)

To have it fit in an envelope you can just flatten it down and it fits in a standard medium SU envelope. I then put Nemo on the inside with Dimensionals and ripped Crumb Cake paper to make it look like sand on the bottom of the ocean. I used the 1” circle punch and Daffodil Delight card stock for the sun.
