Birthday Celebration for His Eminence Aten Phuntsok Rinpoche
Dear Dharma Friends, Our resident teacher Venerable Lama Namsai will be back to Sydney this week after two months Dharma teaching in USA & South East Asia. A Puja of Guru Rinpoche Tsok Offering conducting by Venerable Lama Namsai will be held at Barom Kagyu Sydney in Sefton on Guru Rinpoche Day, 13th August 2016 (according to Tibetan Calendar, 10th June 2143, year of Fire Monkey) As this is an extremely auspicious time, the Guru Rinpoche Day in the year of Fire Monkey, the birth year of Guru Rinpoche, it will be another 60 years before this powerful anniversary happens again. On this very auspicious day, the Puja of Guru Rinpoche Tsok Offering helps to remove obstacles and obscurations, and to accumulate merit and wisdom, bring peace, good heath and liberation, as we dedicate the merit to all of the sentient beings. As one of the great holy days on the Tibetan Buddhist Calendar, the karmic results are multiplied by one hundred million! Venue: 50B Woods Road, Sefton NSW 2162 Date: Saturday, 13th August 2016 Time: 1:30 pm – 4:00 pm On this very auspicious day, a birthday celebration will also be held for His Eminence Aten Phuntsok Rinpoche, the high authority of Barom Kagyu Lineage in Tibet, the Root Master of Venerable Lama Namsai, a Long Life Prayer will be chanted by our students from Barom Kagyu Sydney and the birthday cake will be offered.
