    Part 1- Gun Triple Option Offense

    Why Gun Triple?

    1. Balancea. Run/Pass

    2. Advantages of Gun

    a. QB is off the line/easier to readb. 2 Techs cant dominate the game

    c. Helps O-Line

    i. 2 pt. Stance

    ii. Seams and Dbl Teamsd. TB is dive back- more big plays

    e. Big play offense- more pitch/stretch the fieldf. TB cutback eliminates the need for a CTR play

    g. O-Line 2pt stance helps play actions

    h. Can run to 1 or 3 Tech

    i. Formation Friendly (Empty)

    O-Line Stance

    1. Cocked 2pt Stance (Get into your 3pt stance and lift your hand right off the ground)2. Splits

    a. Covered = Widen a stepb. Uncovered= Tighten a stepc. Always protect inside gap

    QB Play1. Always a give unless

    a. Hand off key is blocked

    b. Stack Read

    i. If End and Sam are Stacked QB calls stack which gets the Slot toStalk Block the Safety. Stack Read is a give unless one of the reads

    comes inside the Tackle. The other read End of Sam becomes the

    pitch key. (Stack=Stalk)c. If pressure comes from the edge send motion.

    2. Pitch

    a. Attack inside shoulder and watch the far shoulderb. We want it pitched

    1. Runner on Blocker
