mounted ball valves which have been tested and certified

ISO 15848-1: “Industrial Valves - Measurement, Test

and Qualification Procedures for Fugitive Emissions

API 6FA: ”Specification for Fire Testing of Valves”

API 607: ” Fire Test for Quarter-turn Valves and Valves

Equipped with Nonmetallic Seats

SIL: Safety Integrity Level

ATEX: 94/9/EC

PED: Pressure Equipment Directive

In addition to these we have also carry out special

application tests for example:

SIL CERTIFIED PED & ATEX

SIL (Safety Integrity Level) identifies all the hazards

of a process and the risks inherently involved to

determine if that risk is tolerable/acceptable.There are

4 levels of SIL where the higher the level, the greater

the impact a failure will have. SIL 4 has the highest

level of safety – Level 1 the lowest. Selecting the

right SIL and valves is critical

CRYOGENIC FUGITIVE EMISSION

To meet the increasing demand for high performance

cryogenic ball valves for LNG (liquefied natural gas)

service GWC has developed a range of valves to

meet these demands delivering long term

GWC Italia’s CRYO valves may be used in many other process involving cryogenic fluids, or exposure to extreme low-temperature condition -58°F to -328°F.

To meet the growing demands for high integrity, low

emission service valves, GWC has addressed this by

developing a standard range of Trunnion mounted

ball valves certified to the latest ISO 15848

standard - Class B / Endurance level C01.

The tests have been

carried out and

qualified as per EN

473 and witnessed by

Independent Third

party inspection

Agencies.
