During replication process can be some problems

that if they aren´t repaired is when

appear the mutations

There are some types of DNA

repair mechanism. Each one with a serie of specific

proteins and enzymes

When these proteins and enzymes are ausent, repair

process failed and appears the

mutation

KLF8 protein is present in some types of cancer

Cause tumor cells resistance

Studies show that breast cancer is

present in 2.5-2.7 millions of women in

USA

Where those women are in treatment, there is a 10-20 percent of

recurrence

KLF8 protein promote resistance of the cells to

cell death induced by doxorubicin.

The goal is to stay KLF8 investigating the role of

protein in their interaction with other

genotoxic agents. 

I think this is a good article because gives information about the role that have some proteins in the effectivity of chemotherapies in diferents types of cáncer, and incites to another authors to keep investigating about the DNA repair mechanism to find a treatment to cáncer.

Key is acetylation of protein histone h4

If acetylation is absent

activate non-homologus end joining by 53BPI

If there is acetylation,

activate homologus

recombination by BRCA1

This is a good article becuase it

talks about a process that

happen in DNA reparation, which one can helps to

find new tratment for cancer

 

Studies about DNA repair mechanism are so important

because it can helps to find new treatments for some patology relationated with mutations of

DNA

Cancer is a public health

problems because there are so many

factors to which

humans are exposed

Constantly

Both articles talk about development of breast cancer and ovarian cancer because DNA repair

mechanism proteins have failed.

For the last reasons, the articles give rise to find new and more efective trearments to cancer.
