“Umm… That’s a great idea! UNFORTUNATELY…”

“That was MY Idea!”

The favorite question:

“What’s the STATUS?”

“I told you that you will fail… Haha… But you didn’t listen to ME”

“I make all decisions!”

“Why are you late today?” h6p://i0.wp.com/anitaclew.selecEamily.com/wp-‐content/uploads/2014/08/Angry_Boss_Checking_Watch_iStock_000007359190_Large.jpg

That’d be great

Umm, yeah, if you could just go ahead make sure you do this from now on, That’d be Great.

Oh, and remember: Next Friday is Traditional Day. So, you know, if you want to, go ahead &

wear a traditional dress, then, That’d be Great.

Umm, yeah, I’m gonna need you to come in on Saturday

and if you could come on Sunday too, then, That’d be Great

and if you could start that meeting at 8 AM and stay until 6PM then,

That’d be Great.

“No major updates from the stakeholders & management meeting.”

Keeps the team in the dark

The other team’s velocity is getting higher guys...

Why is the story a 5… looks more like a 2 pointer to me…

Committing to business without consulting with the team

PM plays many roles Role of a PM towards the team

•  Build a team of motivated professionals

•  Set a clear goal •  Let technical

people make technical decisions

•  Don’t pretend that you can write code better than your team

•  Make sure the team has everything they need to get the work done

•  Remove blockers to the team & the project

•  Empower the team to make decisions & take initiatives

•  Facilitate effective communication amongst the team members

Servant Leader: •  Value diverse opinions •  Cultivate a culture of

trust •  Develop other leaders •  Help people with life

issues (not just work issues)

•  Encourage •  Think long-term •  Act with humility

That’d be great ;)
