    GENERAL PROJECT INSTRUCTIONS:

    1. Each student has to submit at least 10 pages (Color Title

    Page, Acknowledgement, Abstract, Certificate, Index, List of

    Figures, List of Tables,) +25 pages (Full Content) +5 pages

    (References, Appendix)

    - Hard form (Spiral bound Report)

    - Soft Form (CD, .doc & .pdf)

    2. The total EXAMINATION timing PER TEAM will be

    approximately 20 Minutes including Presentation & Viva.

    Presentations have to be via PPT

    3. Numbers ofTotal Hard Copies / Spiral bound Project Reports

    are as below:

    1) Students copy (No. 1)

    2) Copy for College Guide (No. 1)

    allocated the project definition. (No. 1)

    Paper must be White Royal Executive Bond, 85 gsm Paper ofA4

    size only.

    One side Laser

    Printing:

    Entire Report either Black or Colour (Title &

    Certificate must be in Colour)

    Line Spacing: 1.5Printing

    Margin :1.25 inch Left Margin 1.0 inch all Margin (Top

    + Bottom+ Right) SideFont: Times New Roman only.Font size: (Text should start from next line after Title)

    MATTER : 12 Normal (Alignment: Justify )Ex. A rainwater collection system is a simple way for the operation of a building to conservewater use. The rainwater would be collected as it runs off the building and would be stored in cisterns

    until it is needed. The water can be used to water the rooftop garden, or treated for potable uses within

    the building.

    MATTER : 12 Normal (Alignment: Justify )All paragraphs must start withouttab.

    Two line spacing between paragraphs.

    Start new Chapter from new page.

    No blank area at the end of each page except last page of

    chapter.

    All equations in the middle of line with equation no. at the end

    of line within small brackets, E.g.(2).

    No dots between equation and equation no. space before and

    after equation sign.

    Day lighting

    Benefits:

    Day lighting reduces reliance on electric lighting, reducing the cost of electricity in the long run.

    Day lighting also improved the light quality within the building; electric lights only produce a partial light

    spectrum, while daylight brings the full light spectrum into the building giving better illumination of spaces. Also

    studies are available that show increased productivity for people working in naturally lit buildings.

    format. (Software: EndNote 4.2)

    All the references with impact factor more than [5] must

    appear in the report in the context for which they have been

    referred as [1] or [21].

    Website citation has to be very specific not like google.com or

    wikipedia.org.

    Figure copied from some paper or website has to be captioned

    with.
