Progressive Party Platform Introduction In the rise of the new industrial orders, we of the Progressive Party, also known as Progressive Bull Moose Party, are here to bring success and prosperity to the American people. We are urban, educated, middle/upper- class, Protestant reform-minded men and women. The party is aware that the United States is going through economic, social, and political changes that had brought opulence, improvement, and tranquility throughout the nation. We are in a moment that American needs to develop into an even bigger industrialized nation. We of the Progressive Party take the duty given by our father to maintain a government that hears the needs of the people, by the people and for the people. When Theodore Roosevelt became the United States President, American was going through the exiting moment of the nation becoming the leading world power. Roosevelt was president of the United States until 1909. When Roosevelt decided to retire, William Howard Taft was chosen to run and won the presidency for the Republican Party. However in 1912, Roosevelt put his name forward to become the Republican Party's candidate again, but the Party chose Taft for president once more. For this cause, Roosevelt formed his own party, the Progressive Party, later known as the Progressive Bull Moose Party. Roosevelt's Progressive beliefs called for major reforms comprising equal suffrage, community health support for women and children, plantation/farmers assistance, modifications in banking, health insurance in businesses, worker's recompense, and an easier method to amend the constitution. Introduction

In the rise of the new industrial orders, we of the Progressive Party, also known as Progressive Bull Moose Party, are here to bring success and prosperity to the American people. We are urban, educated, middle/upper-class, Protestant reform-minded men and women.

Endorsing a determined program of economic, social, and political reform, known as the New Nationalism, Theodore Roosevelt and his Party followers started a surprising debate about the future of the country. During the late 1800s and early 1900s, the United States experienced an essential change in the way workers worked and in the way people and institutions interacted. Connection transformed between the government and the industry, the industry and the workers, the government and the citizens, and among family members.

Furthermore, over the control of government, monopoly has progressively extended its complete power to every basic industry and has crushed competition. The people cants no longer chose from small competing companies because the monopolies chose not to break into smaller competing businesses. But, we of the Progressive Party promise to stop the expansion of the monopolies and hope to break them into small competing companies that will give the people the liberty to choose where they want to buy goods from.

The new technological innovations fasten the production of goods, decreased slavery, and improved the economy that went through a depression year earlier. To secure the nation, we of the Progressive Party want to put an end to the minor economic, political and social problems that we face. By ending these problems, we can assure the people that we will live under a better country filled with liberty and democracy.

Our nation is home to whomever that wants to improve their lives but will bring no harm. Its businesses, educational institutions, resources, homes, and laws should be used, preserved or transformed in good ways to make the country better than it already is.

The time of putting public welfare, voices, and needs in first place as come. The government will listen to concern, ideas, and necessities of the people. We are looking forward to elaborate every aspect of society in the United States with the help of the people.
