Estimados colegas,

En nombre de la Junta Directiva de la Sociedad Española de Inmunología (SEI), del Comité Científico

y de los miembros del Comité Organizador, tengo el placer de daros la bienvenida al 40 Congreso

Nacional de la SEI .

El Congreso está diseñado para proporcionar una visión global de las últimas tendencias en el

campo de la Inmunología, tanto en la ciencia básica, como en el terreno diagnóstico como

terapéutico . La Inmunología, dado su marcado carácter multidisciplinar, interacciona muy

directamente con una amplia variedad de disciplinas científicas y con distintos profesionales de la

salud . Debemos aprovechar al máximo las oportunidades de las que disponemos para compartir los

resultados de nuestra investigación, para poder interactuar, y de este modo hacer que la

Inmunología se convierta en una disciplina imprescindible en la ciencia moderna . Por eso espero

que aprovechéis al máximo estos días de congreso en Zaragoza, que aprendamos todos juntos

muchas cosas nuevas, y que iniciemos fructíferas colaboraciones científicas .

Estoy convencido de que va a ser una experiencia gratificante para todos . Si bien será la parte

científica la que como siempre ocupe la mayor parte del tiempo dedicado al Congreso,

intentaremos dejaros un hueco para que podáis disfrutar de nuestros monumentos mudéjares

y árabes, de las tapas de nuestro casco viejo, y para que os relajéis viendo pasar el Ebro desde el

Puente de Piedra . Los zaragozanos tenemos fama de ser nobles y hospitalarios con los de fuera,

y estamos deseosos de demostrároslo en directo en estos días .

de becas para la asistencia al 40 Congreso de la SEI

La cuantía de cada beca estará destinada a cubrir los gastos de la cuota de inscripción al 40
