PROGRAM OUTCOMES-M.PHARM (PHARMACY PRACTICE)

PO1. Pharmaceutical Sciences knowledge: Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science,

pharmaceutical fundamentals, and a Pharmacy specialization to the solution of complex

Pharmaceutical problems.

PO2: Pharmacy Profession: To provide student graduates with solid foundation in Pharmacy

knowledge this includes possessing basic knowledge and comprehensive understanding of the

Profession of Pharmacy

PO3: Problem Analysis: To prepare student graduates for a successful career in Pharmacy

Profession with effective planning skills, problem analyzing skills, leadership skills, research

skills, presentation skills, communication skills and professional ethics.

PO4: Application oriented Knowledge: The knowledge of biopharmaceutics enables the

students to visualize the effect of pharmacokinetic (ADMET) parameters on the biological effect

of the drug. The correlation of pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics is thus introduced and

is experimentally explained to them.

PO5: Environment and Sustainability: Enable extension of pharmaceutical dosage forms, and

enables the students to learn about different packaging materials used in pharmaceutical industry

and the factors governing their use.
