Please do not use special characters in your file name, and hold it as short as possible.

Pictures

Image format .tiff and .psd

Min. resolution 300 dpi on a 100% scale.

All images to be delivered linked with file.

We need a colour proof to match image colours.

Fonts / readability

All fonts must be converted into paths or vectors. We cannot edit text if you choose this

version.

Fonts must be delivered with open files.

Format size

Measurements and final format must be shown in a 1:1 format.

Trimming

Trimming requires min. 3 mm all around.

Colours

We can handle up to 15 separations per visual.

Spot colours must be defined as Pantone coated. Metallic colours are not allowed.

An additional separation is required for white.

Separations for simulations (e.g. layout sketch) must be clearly identified and set to overprint.

Special customer colours must be clearly designated in the separation and we must have

access to the respective colour samples.

We cannot adjust colours that are not provided as separations in the vector graphics!

Levels

All elements used for a simulation must be shown in a separate level and clearly separated from

the production levels! If white is printed, a separate level must be created.

Example

Level 4 = white

Level 3 = dimensions

Level 2 = sketch

Level 1 = design elements (layout, images)

Barcode (ISO 15416)

Optimally, the barcode size is 100%. Please note that the colour of the barcode must be

scannable.

Eye-mark / photocells

The field printed before the eye-mark must be at least 10 mm long, have sufficient contrast for the

eye-mark and must be free of gradations, text, and image elements. Size and positioning must be

described in the sketch.

Number of inks

Up to 7 printing inks can be processed. The following colours are available:

cyan, magenta, yellow, black, violet, green, orange, and white.

Spot colours are simulated with our inks.
