Print off pages of advent calendar you wish to use. The calendar is sturdier if the pages are printed on cardstock. Use the best quality printing option for your printer. With the craft knife cut along the lines only on the number pages. You’ll be cutting only the top, right side, and bottom lines around each number. It’s easiest to cut all the lines going in one direction first. Using a ruler helps to keep the cutting straight. Make sure to cut on the cutting mat (or an old phone book) to protect your work surface. Do not open any of the squares. Flip the number page over. Apply glue to the top, bottom, and sides of the page, especially on the corners. If you want you can also carefully apply glue between the columns of cut squares but it is not necessary. Now flip the page with pictures over so the pictures are face down and very carefully align the top to the top of the number page. Press the page all along the edges to the adhere the pages together. Let dry. Tada!!! Now print off a few more for your kids or to give as gifts.
