Overview

The combination of a HP Indigo 5500, 5600 or 7000 Series Digital Presses, a HP Indigo Direct2Finish and the C. P. Bourg Booklet Maker ExPress with the Bourg Sheet Feeder option delivers a new level of increased effi ciency, called «dual-mode fi nishing».

DUAL-MODE FINISHING

The Bourg Sheet Feeder (BSF) uniquely enables dual-mode fi nishing. This provides users of HP Indigo 5500, 5600 and 7000 Series Digital presses the ability to send jobs from Off -Line press streams to their dedicated In-Line fi nishers. Ideal for: a simultaneous delivery of output into the stacker while the BSF feeds other jobs into

the BM-e ExPress; or b production of urgent jobs – In-Line production can be interrupted and the covers and

content of an urgent job can be inserted directly into the BSF

MAXIMIZE YOUR PRODUCTIVITY

As a JDF-compliant device, the BSF fi nisher in an HP press environment receives setup and operational instructions via the HP Indigo Direct2Finish fi nishing automation solution, leading to faster turnarounds, labor savings and the elimination of errors and waste. The system can also be operated manually through the 12-inch (304,8 mm) color touch screen graphical user interface.
