ContentsIntroduction

The White Rose Maths Hub schemes of work provide recommended planning sequences

for teaching maths from Year 1 to Year 6. They are published as part of a curriculum

for primary maths on TES, which also also includes quality-assured classroom

resources mapped to the key mathematical concepts studied at primary school.

The White Rose Maths Hub is one of 35 Government created hubs. Our hub’s dedicated

areas are Calderdale, Kirklees, Bradford and Leeds, but the hub’s work around teaching

for mastery means it engages with early years, primary and secondary schools across the

UK and internationally.

At the heart of all of the hub’s training and support is helping schools unlock the power

of teaching for mastery. Schools can access completely free schemes of learning and

assessments that support this approach, along with free networking opportunities,

training and school-to-school support (via the hub’s partner, The Trinity Teaching School

Alliance).
