Primare Prisma Chromecast built-in Quick Start Guide

Install your Primare Prisma product in your system following the instructions in the user guide, and turn your system on to begin the setup process.

The instructions below will get you quickly and easily set up to cast music with your mobile device or stream from hundreds of services with Chromecast built-In.

iOS ONLY – Go into WiFi Settings and select your Primare Prisma product shown in the Choose the Network fi eld.

Download and open the Google Home app, and press the Devices icon in the top right corner of the screen – a dot will appear in the icon when a device has been found.

Select the Prisma product you want to confi gure by pressing Set Up.

Press Continue to connect to your Prisma product.

Once your mobile device is connected to your Prisma product in the Google Home app, you will be asked to Play Test Sound.

Before pressing Play Test Sound, set the volume of your amplifi er to 40 – then press Play Test Sound. Note: We recommend a setting of 40 to start, but depending upon the effi ciency of your loud-speakers, you may have to increase the volume setting slighlty.

If you hear the sound press I Heard It. If not press Try Again.

Once you have heard it and pressed I Heard It, you will be asked to give your Prisma product a name of your choosing. Note: if using iOS you will be asked to select your country/region.

Enter that name using your mobile device. Select the WiFi network you want your Prisma product to connect to.a) If using Android, click No Thanks to enter the password, or tap OK to automatically get the password for that network.b) Enter the password and press Continue.

Your Prisma product will be connected to the WiFi network.

Press Continue once you are connected to the WiFi network.

Your Prisma product is now setup with Chromecast built-in and ready to cast. Note: At this point you may be asked to login for a better Chromecast built-in experience. If you do not wish to log in, this will not affect your ability to cast with your Primare Prisma product.
