Pride Flags and their Meanings
LGBTI Pride The colors refect the diversity o the
LGBT community and most commonconsists o six stripes, with the colors
red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and
violet. The fag is usually fown
horizontally, with the red stripe on
top, as it would be in a natural
rainbow.
Transgender Pride The stripes at the top and bottomare light blue, the traditional color
or baby boys. The stripes next to
them are pin, the traditional color
or baby girls. The stripe in the
middle is white, or those who are
intersex, transitioning or consider
themselves having a neutral or
unde!ned gender. The pattern issuch that no matter which way you
fy it, it is always correct, signiying
us !nding correctness in our lives.
Bisexual Pride The Bisexual "ride #lag also consists
o pin, purple, and blue stripes. The
pin represents sexual attraction to
the same sex $gay and lesbian%, the
blue represents sexual attraction to
the opposite sex $straight%, and the
overlapping purple portion o the
fag represents sexual attraction to
both sexes $bi%.
