One of American Musical Theatre’s treasures returns to the MET stage by popular demand as thesecond main stage production of Mesa Encore Theatre’s landmark 80th Anniversary Season!

THE MUSIC MAN follows salesman Harold Hill as he cons the people of River City, Iowa, intobuying instruments and uniforms for a boys’ band he vows to organize – this despite the fact hedoesn’t know a trombone from a treble clef.

This award-winning, critically acclaimed Broadway classic is anall-American institution, thanks tois quirky characters, charmingly predictable dramatic situations, and one-of-a-kind, nostalgic score ofrousing marches, a hilarious gaggle of townswomen, barbershop quartets and sentimental balladswhich have become popular standards.
