    ZORA! FESTIVAL 09 SCHEDULE

    Eatonville, FL (January 2009) The Zora Neale Hurston Festival of the Arts and Humanities

    (ZORA! Festival) kicks off January 20 January 25, 2009, with an exciting lineup. This year the festivalcelebrates its 20

    thanniversary and is free and open to the public. Featured performers include Morris Day and

    the Time and gospel comedian Rod Z. The festival is sure to be a hit this year!

    Thursday, January 22, 20098:30 a.m. 3:30 p.m.Young Voices Conference (Session I)A two day interactive forum connecting literature, history and the cultural arts in celebration of the life,work, and legacy of Zora Neale Hurston. The event will feature her talks from her relatives andprofessional biographers, a book discussion of Their Eyes Were Watching God, a walking tour ofHistoric Eatonville, and a film presentation on Jump at the Sunby Kristy Andersen. This conference isdesigned especially for college-bound students in grades 9 12.

    Cost: $15.00 per person and will include all conference materials and lunch. Tickets can be purchasedonline at www.zorafestival.com/events.html.
