Presidency tasks focus on three issues of key importance:

The priorities of the Polish Presidency

• ensure that Europe does not loose from sight its eastern neighbours

• improvement of economic governance in the European Union in the area of economy and finance

• faster economic growth through further development of the internal market


• the first comprehensive initiative introduced into the system of the European Union’s external relations, addressed to Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine

• designed to help the countries of Eastern Europe and South Caucasus with their approximation to and integration with the European Union

1. INSPIRE in the context of Digital Agenda

for Europe – INSPIRE as an important component of e-Government– INSPIRE contribution to thematic policies

2. Interregional cooperation in the framework of INSPIRE– regional experiences– needs and opportunities for cooperation– cooperation with non-EU countries

Three languages: English, Russian and Polish.


The programme comprises following topics:

– geoinformation projects subsidized with European funds in Poland,
