ELECTIVE COURSES AT HIGHER SECONDARY LEVEL AND JOB

ORIENTED AREAS• States must launch courses in different areas of ICT.• Students must be able to select appropriate software

applications based on their needs. Courses must be frequently revised.

• A qualified post-graduate teacher and ICT lab attendant should be appointed.

• Job oriented courses in ICT must be developed for students of vocational stream by linking them with ICT enabled industries.

• On-demand evaluation and certification to enable students to obtain timely qualifications.

• Frequent revision and updating of courses.

• All open and distance learning institutions should provide online services for admissions, examinations, grievance redressal, etc.

• Online courses can enable the students to have access to expert teachers.
