Why do most people never reach their goals? The reason most people

never reach their goals is because they don’t define them or ever seriously consider them as believable or achievable. Winners can tell you where they are going, what they plan to do along the way, and who will be sharing the adventure with them. -Denis Watley

Does this mean I can’t change my mind?

Of course not!The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS)

reports that people born between 1957 and 1964 held an average of 11 jobs from ages 18 to 44. On average, men held 11.4 jobs and women held 10.7 jobs.

25% percent held 15 jobs or more, while 12% held four jobs or less.

Why is it important to have a Career Plan?

So that you will take the most helpful courses in high school. Example: If you think you might want to become

a business professional, you can take Business classes in high school to build your foundation and see if you really like the subject area.

You also want to research the education requirements for the job and make sure that you are taking courses in high school that will allow you to continue with the education needed for the job. Does this job require a 2 year Associates Degree

from a Community College? Does this job require a 4 year Bachelor’s

Degree? Does this job require Graduate School after I

complete my Bachelor’s Degree?
