DESCRIPTION
Parador is the name given in Spain to historic and luxury hotel, managed by a state-run company, and usually located in buildings of historic importance such as fortress, monasteries and castles, but also new buildings settled in natural reserves and amazing places with exceptional views. Paradores is a public company, and was founded in 1928, to promote tourism in Spain. Today, there are 94 hotels from 3 to 5 star, all across Spain, 5 of them on the Canary islands and many along the most important and cultural routes like the popular “Santiago pilgrim way” on the north of Spain.TRANSCRIPT
