KEY PERSONNEL CHEBEL BSAIBES - CHAIRMAN Mr. Chebel Bsaibes holds B. Sc. Honors Degree in Mechanical Engineering & Industrial Management from the University of Nottingham in the United Kingdom with over 25 years experience in the Turnkey “ Design/build” of pre-engineered steel projects. Mr. Bsaibes is the founder of AL Amana Steel Building (Pvt.) Ltd, in Colombo and United Arab Emirates. Before Establishing Al Amana Head Office in Abu Dhabi, Mr. Bsaibes held the position of Area General Manager of Sahara Construction Co., of Saudi Arabia (Turnover in excess of US$ 50 million). Prior to that Mr. Bsaibes held several positions in the pre-engineered buildings industry in the Gulf since 1979. These included the position of Plant Manager, Area Sales Engineer, Sales Manager, and Regional Sales Manager. MAHMUD AL’ HASHIMI – MANAGING DIRECTOR Mr. Hashimi holds a B.Sc. Degree in Civil Engineering. He has over 30 years of experience in steel project turnkey construction. Before joining Al Amana, Mr. Hashimi was the Area Manager for Zamil Steel in Shanghai, China. He has worked as Construction Manager for Sahara Building Contractors, Saudi Arabia, and leading company in the turnkey construction of steel industrial projects. E.S.M. SOYZA – GENERAL MANAGER Mr. E.S.M. Soyza is a Chartered Civil Engineer and holds a B.Sc. Degree in Civil Engineering from The University of Moratuwa and posses over 15 years of Designing & Construction experience in both government service and private sector organizations, at senior levels. LASANTHA GUNATHILAKA – CHIEF ACCOUNTANT Mr. Lasantha Gunathilaka holds B.B. Mgt. (Accounting) sp. Degree from University of Kelaniya, Member of Association of Accounts Technicians of Sri Lanka (AAT) pass the foundation level of Chartered Institution of Management Accounts (CIMA) with over 7 years experience.
