Dear Friend, A new Year comes with fresh new challenges. We encourage you not to hide from

these things. But to face them head on with the Lord of heavens armies. Join us in prayer as we

trust God to move with authority and power to deliver His people! The Word of God reminds us

that when the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will raise up a Standard against

him. (Isaiah 59:19 KJV) Satan may try his clever plans, people may try to destroy you, but greater

is Jesus within us than those that are in the world (1 John 4:4)

• For the THE EAR2HEAR NETWORK partner websites we prayed for… all 3 are up and running.

• For his provision of finances for our CD/DVD duplicator… needed for the new outreach with

audio Bibles - EAR2HEAR MINISTRIES.

• Thank God for good provision of toddlers, pre-schoolers and baby clothes – EAR2HEAR CARE.

• Thank God for the excellent supply of Bibles we received beginning of February. We still need

PRAYER REQUESTS FOR INDIVIDUAL MINISTRIES

Mission - Asia 2000, Pray for:

1. Yvonne and Gretna who are set to return on 2 May 2014. There is still so

much work they need to do. They also need to find new a new home which

will incorporate office space and living quarters. This is very urgent!

2. Assistance as they need to find and appoint new staff to take over the

place of Frikkie & Mariaan at the office.

3. Open doors among the Mormons and the Mormon missionaries stationed

at Baguio. Pray for an anointing to share the Gospel and for power to break

through deception.

Bana Ba Kgosi Drop-in Centre.

Needs our prayers as they are preparing for a new season. The Chairperson

Rosli Strydom, is stepping down at 84 years of age, to allow the new

generation to take up the mantle of responsibility. Rosli Asks us to pray for

the following:

1. Pray for me. I need God’s clear leading on a daily basis as I will continue in

ministry in other areas as long as my physical strength allows me to.

2. Pray for Bana Ba Kgosi, they have many challenges but I am confident

that God will help them. They want to feed 1000 children in the future,

currently they feed 660 children. CONTINUE YOUR SUPPORT. Your

clothes, food, blankets and helping hampers have made an enormous

difference to these children. Bana Ba Kgosi will appropriate these gifts

wisely. They cannot do these things without support from the Pretoria

community.

3. Finally, like me, wait on God to discover your season’s purpose. Don’t just

read about the heroes of Faith. Allow God to make you a hero of the

Faith – ask Him what your life’s purpose is – and when you know… then

forsake this world and everything, take up your cross, follow Jesus and pursue

your destiny with all your heart.

Christ for Romania (CFR).

We have been having one of the warmest winters I remember (no white

Christmas for us). Warm that is until this month. We got hit with super cold

weather and tons of snow. Of course I promptly got good and sick. Yet with all

the snow some days of school were cancelled and I had some time to recover.

Praise God, I'm doing much better now. In fact all of us are in pretty good

health. God is so kind to us and we do appreciate your prayers on our behalf.

Speaking of prayers on our behalf, we've come across a good deal on a Renault

station wagon; please pray with us that God would provide for this car.

Daisy Ministries, Zimbabwe:

We thank GOD for our faithful supporters. GOD is in the business of using

people in teams. What you read in our newsletters is the result of a team

1. The Mighty Men's Conference to be held end August 2014 in Zimbabwe. It is

a substantial event with major logistics and costs involved. We want to do

this in excellence.

2. Jaco junior finished school and must start his adult life. Pray with us that he

3. Pray for the ministry as doors are opening up. That we will always represent

our GOD well bringing honour to HIM. GOD's style is to love and bless HIS

a. Health Care Fellowship (RSA): Compassionate Care booklet,

b. Good News Hearts: Website and Newsletter.

c. JC Wordpower: Resource catalogues

2. Gospels of John in Basic English – a new project which we wish to use to bring the Good News

to the many countries of Africa. More than 1 billion people live in Africa. Many cannot read.

Those who can read mostly in English and not in their local mother tongue, this project has

almost completed the “product development phase” and we need to go into production soon!

3. BIBLES, BIBLES AND BIBLES – please pray that God would open doors for us:

a. We need, new testament outreach bibles in multiple languages (new and second hand);

b. Full new and old testament bibles in multiple languages (new and second hand);

c. Audio bibles (in multiple languages) and solar players.

Vessels of Mercy. Pray for:

1. Yvonne Oosthuizen and the difficult circumstances she faces which have

not yet resolved themselves.

2. Assistance financially so that her ministry can continue unaffected.

3. Opportunities for her to share the Gospel.

4. Doors to open for a home she has identified as a place she could us to work

Refilwe Orphan Care. Pray for:

1. Evelyn and team which work hard to feed 200 children daily.

2. Open doors with Department of social development and other sponsors

for financing (including Regular food and clothing donations)

3. Extra-curricular activities that will educate and broaden opportunities for

the children when they grow.

4. Opportunities for the Gospel and discipleship.

5. A new ministry liaison in Pretoria who can regularly follow-up with Refilwe.

Ps and Radio presenter Saverio Corsini, a friend in ministry of several years, asks us to pray:

Please, I need your prayer support for my 18 days in INDIA (21th Feb to the 10th Mar 2014). I

need your special prayers at such time as this Romans 15:30. My focus is for spiritual

breakthrough and revival in India. I need you to stand by my side and with me in prayers in this

special time. May God bless you and strengthen you for the work He has set before you. I want to

For the Spirit of the Lord to raise a banner against the enemy as he attacks:

4. Christian relationships in the Church and Christian leadership;

5. Pray as God helps Christians to intervene at times to deal with injustice on all scales:

Abuse, trafficking, war crimes, prostitution, homelessness, poverty, hunger etc

Reflections for Women has need of your prayers for the new season it is

about to take. Please pray for:

1. The Reflections Conferences which are about to go on a much

larger scale and incorporate a more active approach to ministry

than ever before;

2. Wisdom, prayer, resources, people / volunteers / mentors;

3. God’s help and direct leading;

4. A date / time frame to implement the new direction we are about

to take.

Two new ministry initiatives are about to be launched and while we

cannot say too much, all we can ask is that you for:

1. Amelita Mowatt as she embarks on these two projects to help people

in society. Pray for the People value website as it will create content

focused on marginalised sub-cultures in society. It is hoped that this

content will be an access point for ministry into these subcultures.

Also pray for Hope Arts which is in the pipeline. Please pray that God

will give Amelita and team the wisdom and innovation needed in

order to get this project off the ground.

2. God’s favour upon Amelita at this time to accomplish great exploits.
