MOTIVATION MEANING

•MOTIVATION is generally defined as the force that compels us to action. It drives us to work hard and pushes us to succeed. Motivation influences our behaviour and our ability to accomplish goals.

• A motive is what prompts the person to act in a certain way or at least develop an inclination for specific behaviour.

Where MOTIVATION, the desire for a particular outcome , EXPECTANCY or self – efficacy is the probability of success , VALUE is the reward associated with the outcome , IMPULSIVENESS is the individual’s sensitivity to delay an d DELAY is the time to realization.
