Hi! I’m Binky Nixon, a photographer based in Bedfordshire working all over the UK and Europe. Thanks for stopping by to find out a bit more about my portrait photography. I love shooting families, couples, bumps, dogs, babies, teenagers, toddlers, animals– you name it!

I like to get to know my subjects ensuring I have cap-tured the personality within my photos. I love to work on location in tall grassy fields, splashing around in some puddles or crunching around on some autumnal leaves. As long as I have my camera and somehappy enthusiastic subjects I can create beautiful images that you will treasure forever.

What should we wear?

Wear clothes that you feel comfortable in. Jeans, woolly jumpers, hats, scarves, wellies – I’ve seen it all.

Bright colours and fun accessories always work really well. Have a few options available too as its nice to have a change of clothes half way through.

Don’t forget favorite things for the kiddie winks and any four legged friends are always welcome. They are part of the family after all.

How long will it take?

A shoot generally lasts between 2-3 hours however this will depend on little concentration spans. I only ever do one shoot a day so we can take all the time we need.

All shoots include a viewing at the studio, where you can come and see your beautiful pics on the big screen and look at all the product available.

If you would prefer to view your images in the comfort of your own home, a private online viewing gallery will be set up for you to share and enjoy.

Multi Frames are a fab way of combining all your favorite shots together. You can mix and match colour and black and white and choose from a beutiful range of frames! Once you have selected your favorite shots I will put some designs together for you.

Albums are a great way to display your photo shoot.

Document all those wonderfulmemories in a story book that you can then look at over and over again. Prices start at £950.

If technology is your friend and you would like to get your images on disc this can be done too.

I like to prepare the images so they are all clean, bright and punchy. This will enable you to print until your hearts content. You can have a mixture of effects on your shots whether it’s popping colours, distressed and vintage or black and white.

I want to book - what should I do?Just call me up and pay the session fee (unless you have a voucher) and you will be allbooked and confirmed.

How do I pay?You can pay by cheque, card or a online bank transfer. Please get in touch to make a payment.

How far in advance do I need to book?For a week day often I can get you booked in within two weeks. Weekends tend tohave a wait of between 4-6 weeks.

Do you do retouching?Yes, I can do as little or as much as you like. Often dribble, spots and general nastiespeople want removing.

Do you travel for shoots?Yes, I am based in Bedfordshire so travel all around. However if you are further afield maybe we could meet somewhere in the middle.

What if the weather sucks?British weather is pretty un predictable. I am happy for people to re schedule if theweather is torrential. Sometimes brollies, and boots can make fun shots though sokeep an open mind.
