FLUIDITY
FLUIDITY
On my second year of university, it has been designated to us the neighborhood of Santo Amaro as a study area. The room was divided into three large groups, which mine has chosen the concept of fluidity to work. Within this large group, were formed teams of three members, and at the end of the semester should submit all these proposals based on the integrated concept. My group was responsible for the intervention of the waterfront of the neighborhood, and our project boat bus station with exchange modals that integrates with else of the city and the neighboring city Olinda.

FLUIDITY
We have adopted the waterfront of Santo. Amaro as a location for analysis and intervention proposal. We divide the waterfront into 3 areas (a1, a2 and a3), where in each area of these different attitudes of interventions were adopted, due its location and its surroundings.

FLUIDITY architectural design
Currently the city of Recife is suffering a renovation on the question of transportation and mobility, therefore, is experiencing an incentive for bicycle transportation and the creation of bus boat stations. Aware of it we made the proposal for one station built for the road transport with a bicycle network to the bus boat, and integrated with a restaurant and a small museum.

Concept
Took as the starting point the interconnection to UFPE (Federal University of Pernambuco), urban expansion in the neighborhood of Várzea comes as a link between the Capibaribe river and the neighborhood in extension. With a new proposal for urban layout, diverging from their original neighborhoods, the new city carries with it the idea of bringing the people to the river, making by urban design and its long avenues, the inhabitants and visitors to feel welcome to enjoy a more enjoyable and close to nature life.
the bridge to the river
The new neighborhood is located between the Capibaribe River, the neighborhood of Cidade Universitária (where UFPE is settled) and the Várzea district. Currently the location is being occupied by a factory and irregular occupations, whose expansion would bring a new expectation for existing neighborhoods and UFPE.

For the urban plan chose to create lines that directly would tie the new neighborhood with its surroundings, while maintaining direct links for cars and pedestrians in order to facilitate the movement. We used squares and boulevards to give a movement to the neighborhood, and the squares and linear garden connected to the boulevards.

For the project, we chose buildings from 1 to 8 floors to prevent extreme vertical, and large setbacks. We plan for streets sidewalks wide enough for pedestrian traffic space for cyclists and creating bike paths and cycle tracks.

While at POLITECH, I had contact with many works of Pernambuco and other states. Among them, the main work that I have been into was the Vila Jardim Building of the construction company Duarte. This building is located in the city of Recife, in the Pina district. I was responsible for all work relating to that building, under the supervision of architect Lorena Velozo.
