evanescence of beauty„die Vergänglichkeit der Schönheit“

Inspired by the movie Orlando with Tilda Swinton, the assigment was to create a mini collection of 3 Outfitis. I took as an extra inspiration a poem (cant be transla-ted).

Vergänglichkeit der Schönheit

Es wird der bleiche Tod mit seiner kalten HandDir endlich mit der Zeit umb deine Brüste streichen.

Der liebliche Corall der Lippen wird verbleichen;Der Schultern warmer Schnee wird werden kalter Sand.

Der Augen süsser Blitz, die Kräffte deiner Hand,

Für welchen solches fällt, die werden zeitlich weichen.Das Haar, das itzund kan des Goldes Glantz erreichen

Tilgt endlich Tag und Jahr als ein gemeines Band.

Der wohlgesetzte Fuss, die lieblichen Gebärden,Die werden theils zu Staub, theils nichts und nichtig werden,

Denn opfert keiner mehr der Gottheit deiner Pracht.

Diss und noch mehr als diss muss endlich untergehen,Dein Hertze kan allein zu aller Zeit bestehenDieweil es die Natur aus Diamant gemacht.

This was the first year exam (2nd semester). Inspiration were trends and colors for summer 2013. We had 1 week time for creating a mini collection, sew one piece, pat-tern, flats, colorcard, moodboard, work and progress book for design and sewing,

a short project with swiss/japenese fashion designer Kazou Hugglerthe assiment was to dye some plain cotton fabric, which fits to the chosen japenese theme and to make a piece which had to be wearable in many diffrent styles

ate a new fashion piece. The work

coat had to be visable in some way.

The starting object for drapping were some old coats, blazers and fab-rics: First we worked in groups of two, then we to create a mini collection.inluding, flats, color-card, target costumers.
