Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes will appear together on Friday, October 14 at 7:00 PM in the IGN Theater for a live performance of their popular podcast Jay & Silent Bob Get Old. Fans who are interested in attending the live performance must have a New York Comic Con ticket and also purchase an additional ticket to the podcast. All ticket prices are based on seating location: $50 for prime seats with a pre-signed item, $35 for second tier seating, and $10 for general admission. Tickets are on sale now! Check back here for further information about ticket prices and seating locations. All NYCC Ultimate VIP ticket holders will be provided a free ticket to the live podcast. Jay & Silent Bob Get Old Live Podcast

The organizers of New York Anime Festival announced on Thursday that it will host Fairy Tail manga creator Hiro Mashima on October 14 and 15 in New York City. He will appear at his own Q&A session and in a larger Fairy Tail panel with voice actors Todd Haberkorn, Colleen Clinkenbeard, Cherami Leigh, and Newton Pittman. He will then appear at a premiere screening of Fairy Tail.

In addition to creating Fairy Tail and drawing the manga since 2006, Mashima created the Rave Master manga and anime, Monster Hunter Orage manga, and Monster Soul manga.

The venue is the Javits Centre in Manhattan (map). The Anime Festival is a part of October's New York Comic Con.
