Spyder Concept

It was initially unpacked in September 2013

at the international auto show in Frankfurt.

After more than three years, the 918 Spyder

ended its testing phase.

Some Brief Idea About

This Hybrid Supercar:

A supercar combines pedigree motor racing

technology with excellent everyday utility

and maximum performance with minimum

consumption.

The plug-in hybrid car was restricted to

918 units in order to maintain its distinct

identity and brand value.

The car travels to 100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds.

Exterior:

Great stability with

lightweight construction, and also

plenty of protection for the folks

in Its cabin..

It is built on a carbon-fiber

reinforced plastics monocoque

interlocked with a carbon-fiber

reinforced plastic unit carrier.

Plenty of Porsche’s trademark

characteristics are there which

boasts a sloped nose, along with

a sleek roofline that tapers all the

way down to the rear end.

Two piece Targa top graces

on the roofline which will give

you the pleasure of driving in

open air.

At its front, you can find

shapelier headlights that you

will see on the rest of its

lineup.

The front fenders are also far

less bulging than on the

other models in its line.

On the backside there is a

massive dual-pedestal spoiler

to add a little extra

downforce.

Porsche fitted the engine’s

main air intakes at the front of

the rear wheels.

Interior:

Basically the interior is meant for

offering a great driving experience

to the driver.

We can classify it into two areas:

The infotainment block that is

housed in the lifted center

In the interior you can find black and

silver color combination with green

contrasting piping on the

door panels.

Instead of that ugly hard plastic it

will offer you a soft touch interior

which includes 3 spoke, multifunction

sports steering wheel and sport

seats wrapped in leather .

The open center console is encased

in aluminium and divides the cockpit’s

function areas with visual clarity.

Suspension And Chassis:

Electronically controlled twin tube gas pressure

dampers in the front

Along with Porsche active suspension management

Multi link rear axle with adaptive electro

mechanical system

ceramic brake discs

Five pre-selectable operating modes for

optimum coordination of all drive units

Front electric motor with gear box for

driving the front wheels

Combustion engine with hybrid module &

transmission bolted together to form a single drive unit
