DESCRIPTION
In 2010, a book editor and a graphic designer joined forces with one modest goal: to render all of human experience in chart form. They went on to amass no small renown (that is, a ton of renown) for their infographical treatments of the varieties of beer, the full array of culinary tools, a taxonomy of hip-hop, and dozens more mappings of cultural touchstones. Now, with a small team of researchers, designers, and soldiers, Pop Chart Lab continues to assemble, sift, cull, and arrange massive amounts of cultural data into meaningful works of art and information.TRANSCRIPT

The world is data. Everywhere you look, information is teeming directly under the surface. Sports, food, art, nature—they’re all f illed to the brim with details and particulars and little complex systems. It can be pretty overwhelming.
At Pop Chart Lab, our goal is to make sense of this swirl of information. Our products—posters, housewares, stationery and more—combine deep research with beautiful design to make meaningful works of art. We strive to help “connect the dots” by compiling complicated data sets on a given topic of interest and then devising a way to display it graphically.
Whether it’s a century’s worth of notable sneaker design, taxonomies of beer types and superpowers and North American birds, or even the grammar of famous opening lines of novels, we want to take the head-spinning amount of fact and context of today’s world and transform it into something else—something clean, elegant, and fun.
Each chart takes hundreds of hours to complete, and the final product is always, we hope, something that provides a little bit of order (and delight!) to a chaotic, data-heavy world.

PAYMENT TERMS All orders must be prepaid via credit card, advance via check, or bank wire transfer. Net 30 Day Terms upon credit approval.
ORDERS Minimum order amount is $350. Orders must reach at least 24 units. Prints and Housewares all come in packs of 6. Please advise at time of order whether you accept backorders. Backorders will be shipped without notice and as available unless otherwise directed by customer. SHIPPING Orders ship FOB Pop Chart Lab Warehouse, Brooklyn, NY 11222. PRICING All prices, patterns, collections and items are subject to change or discontinuance without notice.
RETURNS Goods returned without our advance written permission will not be accepted. Unused merchandise in original packaging may be returned for credit no more than 30 days after date of invoice. A request for return on an invoice past 30 days after invoice date will not be considered. Requests for permission to return goods must specify item, quantity, invoice number and invoice date. All returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee.
CLAIMS Claims of shortages, damages or errors must be reported to carrier upon receipt of shipment. All shipments are FOB our warehouse. Our responsibility ceases and title transfers to consignee/customer once the carrier has signed the pick-up bill of lading from the Pop Chart Lab warehouse.
