TINA KIRSCHNER -

INTERIOR CONSULTANT AND DESIGNER

At the core of the Karma Haathi Mahal design team, is Tina Kirschner, an international interior consultant and designer, whose exceptional interior space and customised furniture design fuses contemporary minimalist aesthetics with unexpected touches that create a harmonious and warm ambience. From interior design concepts, to design solutions and decor detailing, she is a specialist when it comes to transforming existing space into something transcendental. The Karma Group is no stranger to Kirschner’s design-related nous, and she has been at the fore of several other projects, such as the much lauded Karma Bavaria Resort in Germany and the Karma St. Martins in the United Kingdom. To put things into perspective, the Royal Reef Resort in Giili Meno, and the Di Mare restaurant and Sapphire Superyacht in Bali are other outstanding examples of her work.

Richard Soundy is one of the founding partners at the award winning architecture firm, Corrigan + Soundy + Kilaiditi Architects. Soundy has been lauded for many of his undertakings, taking home accolades such as being the 2014 Winner of the AIS Interiors Award for his work on The Learning Centre, Mall Galleries and the 2012 Winner of the RIBA Downlands Prize Southern Region Old San Juan for his work on a private house in Gerrards Cross.

Over the past 30 years, Soundy and his team have consistently produced projects that are award winning for an array of building types, including education, residential, listed buildings, healthcare and commercial. However, he makes no secret of the fact that his expertise lies in the development of contemporary buildings in locations of historical significance. This is where his vision and the delivery of the Karma Group come together. Working in unison, a perfect blend is found between the two, delivering high quality design that is state of the art, while focusing on aspects of a rich heritage.
